New: Click to reveal field in the picker. It clicks a Show phone or Show email button in Chrome and saves what appears. If the site asks you to sign in first, the app tells you.
New: Studio edition for customers from smartscraperstudio.com (scraping tools only, a cleaner menu). AI jobs no longer pause just because the app window is open; they pause only for full-screen apps and games. Fixes: a locked screen no longer counts as a video error, the crash reporter works offline, and a rejected AI key switches that engine off by itself.
Found (client-style test on 6 real shops): a shop that blocks automated reading could keep the Product Scraper busy for 20+ minutes, the Shopify limit counted image rows as products, and some Excel cells showed the word None. Fixed: every run now has a time limit and stops at once on shops that block bots (with a clear message to use Chrome mode), the limit counts real products, and empty cells stay empty.
Found: AI-plan users without their own AI key could not use the AI features until they set up a key. Fixed: the AI plan now includes a free AI starter (about 25 AI answers a day, no key needed); you can still add your own free Gemini or Groq key for thousands more.
Found: the Ctrl+K command box had no close button, and a website page that loaded slowly just once was reported as a problem. Fixed: the command box now has an X close button, and slow-page checks re-test the page before warning (the Self-Healer clears one-off slow pages by itself).
Found: an old one-time error kept showing in the Problems list after it was already fixed, and the Self-Healer could not clear its own old warnings. Fixed: old one-off errors no longer reappear, and the Self-Healer now clears these automatically.
Found: the app's free AI engines were mostly unused once the main writing work was done. Fixed: spare free AI now writes helpful guide articles, and the AI Engines page shows new free AI offers worth adding.
Found: when the app restarted during a very big file, the parts finished at that moment were not added to the Data Vault (7 of 471 parts last time). Fixed: when a big file finishes, every part is checked against the Data Vault and any missing part is added automatically.
Security: old-format licence keys (SS-…) are switched off and the old shared secret is removed from the app. Only new signed keys (SS2-…) work, so licence keys cannot be forged.
Found: buyers want Google Maps leads, but the Guided start only opened Google Maps without reading it. Added: Guided start → type a keyword and city → 📍 Google Maps: reads every place (name, category, rating, address, phone, website, map link), finds emails on each business's own website, and puts businesses without a website on their own sheet. If Google asks for a check, you do it in the Chrome window and the app continues.
Found: you could not get the email of a named person (e.g. a director or owner) — only the general emails on the website. Added: Clean & Enrich can now find a person's likely work email from their name and the company website. It uses the person's own email when it is on the site, otherwise the company's email pattern (john.smith@, jsmith@…), and shows High / Medium / Low confidence plus alternatives. Guessed emails stay in their own columns and are never mixed with found emails.
